Helena’s Blog: Here Come The Newlyweds!

Well, the show has finally aired. After waiting 6 months to see what they did with the shoot, I’d say it was somewhat successful! Tb, being the medium that it is, and the show with its own agenda to .entertain, I think that at least some seeds of interest were planted. Must I Label My Sexual Orientation?

I have a strong objection to labels, especially when it comes to sexual orientation.  The options we are offered now are:  Straight (Heterosexual), Gay (Homo-sexual) or Bi-Sexual (Attracted to Both Sexes).  These options include a lot of baggage and expectations for appropriate roles and behaviors within each.
